AQUAFIN (Aquaculture Technology & Research Foundation India), Chennai and the MANAGE Hyderabad will be jointly organising a 3 days Virtual Training Course on 'Minimal Water Exchange Technologies (MWET) to develop Aquaculture Entrepreneurship' from 20.12.2022 to 22.12. 2022. This important training shall deliberate upon the culture and path to take up aquaculture with a 'minimal water foot print' for its sustainability.
DIFST, Midalam in collabration with the NFDB, Ministry of Fisheries Gol, organized the capacity building program on Aquaculture feed technology.

Prof.S.Felix, Founder President, AQUAFIN had an exemplary academic privilege of delivering an inspiring keynote address on Climate Change in aquaculture at the Annual Conference on Sustainable ecosystems, Aquaculture, Fisheries and Fisherfolk (ANCOSEAFF 2022) organized by the Department of Aquatic Biology and Fisheries, University of Kerala. He also had the credit of presenting a paper on “Adaptive & Mitigative Strategies: A Call for Climate Action in Aquaculture” in the conference. His deliberation expanded the vistas of climate change impacts in aquaculture with an effulgent focus on the strategies to adopt climate smart aquaculture approaches and insisted to have much more research & development works in these areas. |

![]() A prestigious invitation from Central Agricultural University,Imphal as a 'Lead Speaker' in the Six Days National Webinar on "Aquapreneruship through Recirculating Aquaculture System" was extended to Prof.S.Felix, Founder Chairman of AQUAFIN,Chennai.He delivered a talk on "RAS-An Inevitable Technology for Indian Aquaculture" on 17.01.2022 and addressed the students,faculty and farmers of the different states who were attending it. |
![]() Entries received for the contest were screened based on the technical knowledge of the individuals and six students from different fisheries varsity were selected to compete in the final contest. A Jury consisting of three judges from the sector assessed the presentation of the selected candidates. Mr.Subramanian from Annamalai University and Mr.Sagar Vitthal Shinde from Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai bagged the title AQUAFIN YOUTH ICON 21 and a cash prize of Rs.1000/ each.Mr.Bhuvaneshwaran from ICAR-CIFE became the runner up of the event with a cash prize of Rs.500/-.Other four participants were also encouraged and provided with certificates of participation for their enthusiastic participation.Prof.S.Felix, the President of AQUAFIN presented the awards to the winners and thanked the participants for their visionary plans to develop the sector. |
